지난10월 29일 (일요일) 오후 5시 30분, 부에나 팍 소재 Los Coyotes Country Club 에서 창립 24주년 기념 “Fellowship Dinner” 가 있었습니다.
약 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 유 혜영 신임 이사장의 인사말로 시작된 행사에서는 빅토리아 홍 원장의 사업보고, 리버사이드카운티 검찰국의 에드워드 홍 검사의 ‘가정폭력의특성과 사회적 영향’에 대한 강연을 통해 피해자들의 회복과 재활을 위한 참석자들의 지속적인 관심과 후원을 독려하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
또한 최석호 가주하원의원이 지난 5년간 상담봉사자로 수고한 데보라 김 목사에게 감사패를 수여하였으며 약 4만여불의 후원금이 모금되었습니다.

Our Fellowship Banquet on 10/29 at the Los Coyotes Country Club was an uplifting event with over 180 in attendance. We’d like to express our sincerest thanks to all the ladies of Third Day Flower for breathtaking photo wall and centerpieces, soprano Joann Lee and pianist Jin Kyung Lee for their touching performances, keynote speaker Eddie Hong for giving us a powerful look into the realities of domestic violence…… and our very own Jennie Kim for her courage in sharing her triumphant story. The evening raised over $42,000.
