Shifting our focus from comfort and safety to healthy independence, Transitional Living Center facilitates women and children to live with minimal assistance teaching them empowerment and self-reliance. Residents will be required to pay a small portion of their income for living expenses and start a savings account.
- One to two year, long term, low rent housing for DV victims from HOGP or other emergency shelters.
- Healing and enrichment programs to help women re-build their confidence and lives.
- Safe haven, counseling & education for children.
- Job training and opportunities through supporting organizations.
- Referrals to and cooperation with various legal aid organizations.
- Referrals and information on affordable housing for clients exiting the program.
